Last year Leyland Leopards were stopped operating at Motorfest because the bus museum think the public do not like them. As i have noticed the Public do not notice the difference between types of single deckers we operate at motorfest every year. Everyone has there favourates and dislikes. Getting rid of the leopards and the oldest mercedes 0305s is not the answer even the older single deckers like the worldmasters ect get the same attention as the leopards and the oldest mercedes 0305s. I do see people riding on these types of buses. And Austrtalia day is a time of year for everybody to ride on different types of double deckers and single deckers on the day. We need to make more variety to make interest to everybody and the members that are operating these vehicles on the day are just as important as the public are and we have to keep our happy as well as the public. Our Leopards are now 40 years old and our oldest Original Mercedes 0305s are about neally over 35 years old. The more variety that is operating on Motorfest the more people that are going to be kept interested. All types of vehicles that run on the day are popular in there own there own ways and interest people in other ways so we can not discriminate our own vehicles they should be treated equally and the same. Single deckers do carry as many passengers as the double deckers so why do our single deckers always end up as the unpopular ones at the end ? The public usually do like ride on eather a single decker first and then might ride on a double decker later on and i have seen most people do this. Thankyou
