MOTION FOR RECONSIDERATION
PETITION for RECONSIDERATION
We, the undersigned ISBS Operators, have received a letter from PAGCOR dated July 9, 2012 informing us that the Board has resolved not to renew the IPLMA-ISBS agreement and that effective September 12, 2012, all operations must cease and our kiosks be dismantled. When we applied for our license, we welcomed this as a promising business that would oppose the illegal gambling operations in our areas. Stopping operations now would obviously result not only in loss of livelihood for seventy-six (76) operators and their staff for one hundred seventy five (175) kiosks and their families but will also make way for the return and proliferation of the illegal betting operators. Another consideration is our expense incurred upfront on shop lease. We are prepared to comply with all necessary new regulations that will allow us to continue to operate by virtue of a renewal of the said agreement. We are therefore appealing to the PAGCOR board to reconsider their resolution.
