Mothers Against Predators National Petition to Stop Criminal Paparazzi
Washington, D.C Mothers Against Predators (M.A.P.) is seeking to gather one million signatures on an online petition demanding that the L.A. District Attorney, All States Attorneys and the U.S. Attorneys Offices prosecute all paparazzi who violate the law and endanger the safety of the American public. We the people have had enough of these urban terrorists with cameras who act irresponsibly. Sophia West, Founder of M.A.P. says, The greed driven segment of the paparazzi that break laws to obtain their photos are nothing more than criminal predators terrorizing celebrity parents and their children in search of a compromising photograph. As a mother and concerned American, I can only imagine the anguish Brittany Spears two children experience when they fall under attack from hostile paparazzi who are not afraid to break the law in pursuit of their prey.
The Petition
Mothers Against Predators in conjunction with GoodKnight.org is seeking to stop all criminal predators from placing America\'s children and adults in mental anguish and physical danger. Time and time again we have seen images in the news of hostile and aggressive paparazzi violating the law to pursue a compromising celebrity photograph. The outlandish behavior of the paparazzi involved in a high speed chase added to the circumstances that led up to the death of Princess Diana. Most recently, the paparazzi that stalk Brittany Spears stood in the roadway blocking her vehicle and even lay across the hood of her car, refusing her and her two children safe passage. A terrified Spears reacted by driving off into oncoming traffic in an attempt to save her frightened children from any further criminal assault and harassment. Where was the L.A.P.D. when these children needed protection
The purpose of this petition is to force the L.A. District Attorney, All States Attorneys and the United States Attorney, when applicable, to prosecute the criminal behavior of photographers who act outside of the confines of the law. All Chiefs of Police must establish undercover sting operations at locations where paparazzi gather in order to document any unlawful acts, arrest the criminal predators and confiscate all film and equipment used in the commission of any crime(s). When these photographers lose their cameras, maybe they will think twice before they commit an unlawful act.
We the people of the United States must act now by signing this petition before innocent children and their parents are injured or killed.
