Annie Abrams Honorary Co-Chair of the Martin Luther King Commission Annie McDaniel Abrams, a retired Educator and a native of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, is a well-known Public Servant.She has served on numerous local, state and national Boards for over five decades.She has been elected as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention several times, most recently in 2004.Her current roles include serving as a Commissioner for the Fair Housing Commission; Honorary Co-Chair of the Martin Luther King Commission; Member of the Little Rock Central High 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee and Treasurer of the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus.Mrs. Abrams is a grassroots leader who has nurtured and mentored many of our current elected city, state and national leaders.Additionally, she has received numerous awards for her community service.
