| 52 | Melanie Currie | I am a home owner and sick of the rate rises, how long can I continue paying a mortgage at this rate?? |
| 53 | Bronwyn Willing | Things are getting bad, I have sold my motor bike and other items just to help make the payments.
My lender has put up the interest rate 4 times other than reserve bank increases.
I've had enough. |
| 54 | Anonymous | Such an important issue and so many people could be helped! |
| 55 | Anna McMinn | I totally agree with the above statement. Families are doing it tough due the current economic climate. If the potential to provide relief with morgages is available pull your finger out! |

| 58 | Richard Evans | For a party that promised so much before being elected into Government, it is a criminal to see them just sitting on their hands whilst postulating about what they will do. |

| 67 | Soner Ozcicek | the government and in particular the RBA has no real clue in fiscal policy. Interest rates are not the only way to control inflation, they have other tools but are to ignorant as they don't feel the pain of all Aussies as their pat packets are fatter than others. I would like to see them in a normal Aussies position, NOT. |
| 68 | Anonymous | the government is all talk.
they are all overpaid |
| 69 | Anonymous | Saving money on a home loan would greatly benefit Australians in more ways than one and may help to reduce stress leave and suicide. Has the government given much thought to how the interest rate rises has affected the health of many Australians! |

| 79 | Maria Barnfield | The cost of switching my loan is making me stay longer with my current lender, costing me more. This intitiative would make things easier and save borrowers like me money. Given that the costof living is so high today, being able to reduce my mortgage repayments through refinancing to a cheaper lender would be a great help. |

| 94 | Anonymous | I am a Kevin07 and Labor supporter, however that doesn't mean I like having 3 independent interest rates since January 08 and 2 official rate rises (one being .39 points) within 5 months!!! I have had 2 independent rate rises within 3 weeks of each other from the ING bank who I borrow with. I also pay more than $180 per FORTNIGHT in repayments than when I got my mortgage in late 2006, I don't blame either party but some bipartisan support to get inflation back in a safe zone would be appreciated and CONTROL flippin inflation so I don't lose my home.
Many thanks |
