Name: Susan Quirk on Mar 9, 2010Comments: This lack of choice has been an issue for some time and many families are channeled into spending far more than they can afford for senior portraits. I think any photographer who submits the photos in the proper format and utilizes acceptable guidelines as set by yearbook/teacher/staff should be able to be used for senior photos. I have paid for two sets of photos for each of my three graduating seniors at Morro Bay high school so as to utillize the photographer of my choice for family photos and to make sure my child is in the yearbook.Flag

Name: Linda Settevendemie on Mar 10, 2010Comments: If certain boundaries are given such as in a passport photo any photographer can do the senior portrait. I was not very happy with the professionalism of who Beth "had" to go to. We had to have them taken twice.Flag

Name: Doria Ballesteros on Mar 10, 2010Comments: We have used the current photographer for 2 members of our family when they were seniors. I really do not see how his work is great or even very good. Both of my children thought he was weird and creepy. I think being able to have a choice would be a good move for the school administrators.Flag

Name: Laura Samuel on Mar 10, 2010Comments: I would like to have a choice as to who takes my son's senior portrait. I have a sister who take professional photos yet I am unable to use her since I would have to go to the studio of YOUR choice. Many families have a financial hardship and as long as the photos are in the format needed I don't see why I cannot have the photographer of my choice.Flag

Name: Vivian Gong on Mar 10, 2010Comments: I believe that the students of MBHS should be able to choose the photographer of their choice for their senior yearbook portrait. It does not seem fair that we have to go to a photographer that is choosen by the school. Please let the parents and students choose who they would like to go to...Flag

Name: Ruanne Payne O'Donoghue on Mar 12, 2010Comments: I think it is important, not only for the students, but for the parents that pay for the portraits to have choices. As a family you may have a photographer that you know who works well with your child during a photo shoot. Since it is expensive to have the photography done, the choice of who does the photography should be open to other qualified photographers who can meet the requirements for the year book. Thank you.Flag
