Name: Andrew Jarvi on Feb 25, 2004State: OHCountry: USComments: Being a Civil War Re-enactor and having lived in SC know the importance of not defiling this beautiful historical landmark. Any developing of this island will be a terrible injustice to our history and to our generations to come because it will rob them of the ability to see where our ancestors fought. Also as a re-enactor I am the captain of the 5th US Colored Troops, an African American regiment that served valiantly during the civil war, if this great historical site goes what's to keep the other battlefields from being destroyed by GREEDY developers who care less about the education of our childrenFlag
