| 945 | J | Johannsen | OK | US | The lighthouse is almost breathtaking as it appears over the horizon from the beach. Please don't take precious history and sacrifices ppl made and turn them into padding for someones wallet. |
| 946 | Kathryn | Howard | AL | US | It is a crime to allow the beauty of Morris Island to be removed. By allowing the "development" of this area by luxufy homes it would be taking the homes of the wildlife in the area. As a child my grandfather took me down to the lighthouse and we would sit for hours. He would tell me stories of growing up in the low country. I carried that tradition on with my children and hope that they will be able to do the same. PLEASE stop this from happening. |

| 948 | Joel | Rane | CA | US | I've been to Morris Island...my friends live in Folly Beach and we put ashore there in a dinghy. It's a lovely place and should remain as open space...as one of the few undeveloped bits of Carolina Low Country and as a memorial to our stupidity. Thank you. |
