Members of the Moroccan Community in the USA were angered by the following false news published on the Middle East Newsline site: U.S. Ends Commitment To W. Sahara Autonomy . July 09, 2009 WASHINGTON [MENL] -- President Barack Obama has ended U.S. support for a Moroccan plan to establish autonomy for Western Sahara. The silence from the editors at Middle East Newsline is telling but I am spending my time coordinating formal reports with the federal agencies listed above. We are forcing them to account for this blatant misinformation because our heritage is not a target for their fabricated narratives.

Seeing this level of support confirms that our community refuses to let these lies define our story. The momentum we have built together proves that they cannot silence the truth about our heritage.

Keep exposing them. They think they can say whatever they want and get away with it.

Enough with the fake news. People need to do actual research before they print these lies about our country.
