It is also a great relief not to have Erin Burnett referred to constantly as "International Super Star". Those are really "cringe" and "gush " moments and are inconsiderate of other women who are either regulars or guests. That designation may have had a humorous intent the first time it was used but I surely wish he would give it a rest.Flag

Name: Jane Donohue on Mar 10, 2008Comments: This morning (03/10/08) sealed the deal for me. My husband and I are switching back to CNN where the demeaning banter of Joe Scarboro isn't allowed. He is so centered on being funny, keeping the focus on himself and demeaning Mika who is smarter, more articulate and respectful of the guests - by far - than Scarboro. If I were Mrs. Scarboro - sitting down in Florida - I would question my husbands flirtatious behavior. This morning, he litterly laughed through reports of the devastating cost of the war in Iraq. I was embarrassed for him and the station as he insulted the men and woman fighting and the families who have lost loved ones n the war. Both my husband and I have masters degrees and keep well informed of political and social issues. We are going back to CNN for our information. They do not think they are a comedy station. Too bad MSNBC just made "Morning Joe" permanently. We just made it GONE! Get rid of Joe and make it a classey, serious show with Mika Brzezinske! Then we'll come back!Flag

Joe Scarborough doesn't do a good job at hiding his true racist feelings.He should be co-host to Lou Dobbs. I don't know how either of the two got a show . They are not only racist, but not too smart. They seem to get offended when they have guest who out shine them. I watch the show only because of Mika and I love when her father is a guest.Flag

She has an excellent viewpoint on issues and we do not here enough from her. I actually enjoy it when Joe is not on the show for whatever reason so we can hear more from her.Flag
