Name: Wendy Tripp on Apr 23, 2007Comments: I have been suffering with Morgellons for about 3 years. I am suffering with the pain, the disfiguring lesions (scarring), the endless itching, the fatigue, the cloudy vision, the fibers, as well as the brain fog. I also experience the tremendous fear that I will soon die as a result of this disease. Coping with these symptoms is mentally crippling as well as physically debilitating. I also fear that this disease may be a contagion, and that I may pass it on to those people that I come in contact with, family, friends, and the public. I have lost my boyfriend because of this. I willingly isolate myself from dating and socializing as I am embarrassed as to how I look and I fear I may infect those that I get in close contact with. I believe that it is my right as a United States Citizen to have this disease taken seriously, studied, and a treatment protocol established. I have also spent time, money, and have had to experiment on my own with medications and supplements as I am desperate. My doctors do nothing, as they need knowledge to base their treatments on, at this time there are none. This disease is not recognized in the medical community. Please help me and everyone who is suffering from this disease.Flag

Name: Kerry Burba on Apr 23, 2007Comments: This has become rediculious. The CDC claims they weren't contacted until 2004. I contracted Morgellons in 2001 and had met Mary L and others already working on it where WE ALL were already contacting the CDC back then. If the CDC can't do the job they are all getting paid to do, stand up and admit it. This is real and its spreading and when everyone has it, I will very curious to see the stupid excuses the CDC comes up with then. Just like Lyme Disease.. ignore it and you think we will go away. You are DEAD wrong.. We are all standing to fight about Lyme and we will all stand to fight about Morgellons as well. I hope everyone realizes that all the other countries out there think our Government is full of idiots because of this mess. Our medical system is failing because of ignorance regarding these diseases. And I believe it will only get worse. How pathetic for what is supposed to be the best country in the world..Flag

Name: Sheryl Martin on Apr 23, 2007Comments: I am a healthcare worker and need answers. I have been suffering with severe chronic spinal cord pain (the entire spine) for years, and am unable to take any medications for it. I have seen a rapid neurological decline in recent months and an increase in fibers. I have seen several people in my immediate environment with similar symptoms and I wonder if there are many others who are not yet aware of this condition who may have this. We really need to know about the contagious potential, as this could end up being a devastating disease epidemic!Flag

Name: Julie Ostoich on Apr 23, 2007Comments: It is appalling that mainstream medicine is so utterly dumbfounded by this widely distributed and spreading condition now affecting thousands in every state in the country and worldwide. From my own personal experience, it is completely unacceptable that physicians readily admit that they dont know what this strange infliction is, yet routinely prescribe drugs or medicines that are either ineffective or aggravate symptoms. It's unconscionable that those who are suffering from this condition have been denied medical care, misdiagnosed, and even ostracized or dismissed as delusional. We need competent and comprehensive research to accurately discern and diagnose precisely the cause of this growing epidemic. Following that, viable treatment options must be developed and implemented immediately. Weve had enough stalling and rejection.Flag

Name: Sharon P Hiatt on Apr 23, 2007Comments: I have been living with this affliction since April 2006, and as a direct result, I have lost the love of my life and my own family thinks I am delusional because NOONE will do ANYTHING to get to the cause of this. I believe with everything in me, that this, and I know this sounds crazy, but, is either bioterrorism or some kind of alien attack. In both cases the government would put a lid on it to provent widespread panic. Please think about those of us us suffer , not only from the pain, but the humiliation we recieve, when we try to explain our symptoms and what we have seen and are told we are delusional. I am 47 years old and having to live with my parents because I am in such constant pain and I am embarrassed of the sores. My parents just think I am nuts, Please HELP!Flag

Name: Tanya Bernard on Apr 23, 2007Comments: It is a known fact that animals are capable of being infested by numerous parasites -many of which are NOT easily diagnosed. It is unthinkable that the medical profession as a whole and the CDC cannot consider that the same could be true of humans. Techniques for even beginning to approach detection and further identification and classification of parasites must be developed ASAP because there is a lot to learn and a lot of people suffering in the mean time.Flag
