Do you think parking violations are too expensive and unfair?
Is commuter and on-campus parking unaccommodating and inaccessible?
As college students we value our education as well as our money, but it's too often that we find ourselves bombarded by expensive fines.
Either Linden residence/commuter parking is too far, there's no quick-access parking for students, some spots lack reserved signs, the grace period for obtaining a permit is too short, or parking passes are inconveniently located at the front gate and expire in a day.
These are the reasons why students get fined, and I need your support so I can reduce $50 fines to $20, implement quick-access parking, build a parking deck behind the Student Center for Linden residences and commuters, make sure all unclear parking spots have signs, and extend the grace period for obtaining a permit.
