11 craig soldingerI've been a professional in this and related industries for 45 years. This is the first time so many alternative markets are competing with Florida for production dollars. Please help us to bring the business back and maintain our industry.

21 Mickey McCarthyI am a 30 year, 3rd generation member of the Florida film community. Sadly, in the last few years, I have watched our proud industry decline as other states and Canada have lured our productions away with incentive programs. Many of our best technicians have had to spend months away from home or uproot their families and move to another state to follow the work. We already have great locations and crews here. Please help us level the playing field. Support the Florida production incentive program so we can once again be known as "Hollywood East".
22 Art Smith JrI keep trying to bring films here. Just lost one to the Bahamas incentive program that was scheduled to shoot here. Now I am off to Eleuthera.

31 Dennis DeToroOur industry is dying in this state. All the hard work by the folks who made this state at least number three in the nation in the nineteen seventies and eighties are allowing other states like Lousiana and New Mexico to divert the productions to their states. This should have been addressed years ago when Canada was the major thief of our livelihood. If you can help the insurance companies get richer the Florida Legislature should at least give assistance to the many movie technicians who are facing losing their houses if no work is enticed to come here.
32 Beverly VisitacionThis financial incentive is the only way that film production will return to Florida.

34 Anonymousit's becoming impossible to make a living in florida as an actor. Look at economies like Luisiana, new york and conneticut.

36 Robert ScottPlease remember this ... when a film comes to Florida, they bring 20 to 80 million dollars and unexposed film. When they leave they take exposed film and no money. No infra-structures to provide ... this is a perfect revenue machine !

42 Darlene Blackburn MarinoI am always disappointed to hear that Florida has lost more and more film contracts to other states. We have loads of good film professionals here in our state. We have loads of wonderful locations that could host film production. Our economy will benefit greatly from movie and television production.

48 wil shrinerthis is a great place to shoot a film, we had nothing but great crews, support and encouragement while shooting the feature HOOT last summer here in Florida,
49 Alex EdlinLately I'm traveling to other states to work. It would be nice to work in my state or in Miami were I live. Give us a level playing field so we can compete with the other states. This will benefit everyone.
