If you want to find a place to stay in a foreign country on your own or with a friend, then you can do so easily by visiting a site like AirBnB.

Likewise, if you’re travelling to another country or city and you need somewhere to stay, then you’ll find a hotel easily enough on Hotels.com or a similar site.

But what if you want a villa? Finding accommodation for large groups is still much more difficult than it should be and this is upsetting considering just how much more affordable and fun this type of travel is!

Staying in a villa means actually immersing yourself in the local culture, rather than staying in a made-for-tourists hotel. It also means that you’re going to be able to split the cost with a bunch of friends and it means that you can enjoy barbeques outside and games of Frisbee in the evening (another way you save money!).

In short, staying in villa in koh samui is great for groups but the options are very limited!
