I can only imagine how others (including my grampa) are being treated. The sad fact is that there is more to this.... there have been several times I have gone in to visit and someone has fallen and no one is around, several times I have needed someone to help reposition my grampa and again no one! there are 2 staff members to 15 residents.... it takes, legally, two of them to do a transfer and in this time the other 14 residents are left unattended. It rages me to know that all incidences are completely preventable and that the on going complaint of "not enough staff" is never heard. Well its time for a change instead of spending money on the new lrt line, the new museum, and the new arena it should be put to dignified, respectful, integrity based, and compassionate care! Infrasture can always be changed and remodeled however people can't. ITS TIME FOR CHANGE!
