| 14702 | Jennie & Paul Webster | I remember when Moonlight first came on we both got so hooked and watched it until the end but what both me and Paul can't understand is that a vampire and human died together for the love of one and another then Beth ended her relationship with Mick because he was a Vampire but they soon got back together, if you were going to end it the vampires should all be destroyed or Beth dies and get's turned by her lover Mick. You could do another series where Beth makes a record for Mick with the classic love song for a vampire. Why, oh why did you have to cancel the Moonlight we are crying buckets here in Bolton because we are missing it so much. Please, Please bring it back as we think this is one of the best Vampire programmes that I ever watched. CBS Why do you keep putting all rubbish on television when we all could be sitting down, with pop corn and a glass of wine or beer watching moonlight. |

It was intelligently written and just plain entertaining to watch. It was building a loyal viewer base , while the 18 to 48 group may have been the CBS target most 18 - 35 age group I know don't stay home and watch TV on Friday nights. It has a wide viewer base however . Many of the people I know from the early teens and from my age group(50 up) enjoyed the show. Give it a chance and better exposure, you might find you have a hit on the horizon. Remember vampire show have been hits (Angel,
Buffy, Forever Knight ) and these all took more than one season to really develop a large following.
Moonlight really hasn't been given a fair chance to do this. It really wasn't given advertising and with the writers strike was hard for people to get in the habit of watching .(No repeats played) Please reconsider and maybe consider changing your target group.Teenagers and baby boomers also buy what your advertisers are selling. Since moonlight has left CBS so have I. I used to watch the Friday night line up with my husband Ghost Whispers (which he liked ), Moonlight,(which I loved) then Numbers (which we both were so-so about.) Now we just don't watch TV on Friday nights.There just isn't much to watch . |
