Name: Linda Graff on Apr 5, 2007Comments: It is so silly to think a group so popular and so talented could be left out. Longevity, talent and the fact that they love to perform even after all these years should count for something. I'm glad they're still out there.Flag

Name: Jean Marie St James on Apr 10, 2007Comments: It's really a disgrace the Moody Blues are not in the RRHOF. Their music has spanned over 5 decades and they have composed some of the most beautiful music ever created. It's pretty pathetic when you look at some of the inductees in the Hall that aren't even half or even a third as good as the Moody Blues. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five C'mon !!! Get the Moodies in!!! JeanMarieFlag

THE SOONER THE BETTER! They are my knights in shining armor especially justin who makes my world a better place to be. They make me feel good. they are great musicians and songwriters and they are unique they don't try to copy anyone and no one can ever copy them they are in a class by themselves like elvis and the beatles there wil never be another band like the moody blues enough said!Flag

Name: Kent Book on Dec 13, 2007Comments: It's insane that Madonna, the Ventures and the Dave Clark Five, as well as a host of other minimal contributers to R&R are induscted before the Moodys. I've always heard it was a Keith Richards' stattement that he'd give back his membership if they were inducted as the reason for their snubbing--I hope to hell we don't have to wait until he's dead. I suspect half of the 30- & 30+ somethings were conceived to a MB song--anyone heard of "Nights in White Satin". The Hall is a sham until the Moddy Blues are inducted.Flag

Name: Tigger on Oct 3, 2010Comments: pee on the RRHOF. The Moody Blues are too good for them frankly. And besides, who ever said the HOF in Cleveland was the ultimate source of all musical expertise??? <ribald chortle> Aren't the Moodies in the Hollywood Rockwalk and numerous other music museums? Did Suz start this petition? Yeah she's a pretty major stalker (no one's perfect), you might want to think twice about her supporting her stuff.Flag

Name: Bea on Feb 24, 2011Comments: I wrote a letter to Rolling Stone with no reply, lol see following. I sort of like the guy that said Pee on teh RRHOF Can't figure it out, Truly. To Those In Control, It’s time I stood up for a true band. Okay, go ahead and laugh. Life is way too serious to not use the opportunity. And it will be I in the end, smiling, as I wave you through the renewal tank, telling you, “See, I told you so”. :o) Like probably a billion other intelligent beings out there, I just want to know one thing. Why have the Moody Blues not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? How many other bands can say they are for the most part still out there after all this time and still have these same beings buying tickets to see them when the music industry is in dire straits? Who are those “masked men”, to borrow a very good question, who keep shooting them down? Is the music industry really being controlled by giant reptilians that do human sacrifice on their days off? I mean, come on, what’s it going to take? Watch them all die off first before giving them their dues? Okay, mark me guilty. In the seventy’s while I appreciated and loved the Moody Blues music, I didn’t always hear the words that accompanied the notes. But, who really did to anyone’s? Justin Hayward’s song writing talents alone should have earned the band’s crown. While a very young lad, he wrote lyrics that came from the soul of what those in the know would say, “one who would be called the old, or the more highly evolved, or greater developed soul.” I don’t think I ever heard one parent say they were bad role models. Perhaps, this is what has marked them? That every level, young and old, find some gift from them to enjoy? For, isn’t that what music is to the universe after all? Such a gift to us who can but listen, transforming us to be more than we are? I thought that was what this so called honor was about? How many other band’s music has made its way to the moon? Maybe it’s time the fans start calling the shots instead of, dare I repeat rumors, “The Illuminati?”Flag

Name: Josh Mertens on Apr 17, 2012Comments: The fact they are not in is a joke and shows how unintelligent the the selection committe really is, the Moody Blues are a hugely sucessful band and they are responsible for introducing the mellontron to the Beatles among other great acts for music.. Wise up and include this GREAT band.Flag

Name: William Hummell on May 4, 2012Comments: The failure to include the "Moody Blues" in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame makes a mockery of the hall's alleged credentials to judge the contribution to music made by artists. This band has made a vast contribution for 45 years, to the delight of millions of fans who enjoy great music. The fact that Rolling stone magazine apparently influenced this idiotic decision is good reason not to purchase the magazine. So long as the "Moody Blues" are not in the so-called hall of fame, the hall is tainted.Flag

Name: Ric Riel on May 5, 2012Comments: I first heard the Moodies in 1970 when I was in SE Asia. Have been hooked since. I've had the pleasure to see them over a dozen times over the years and look forward to more. How the Hall Of Fame can exclude them is unbelieveable to say the least. Somebody must really have a grudge against them for a past percieved injustice. Until they enter it can only be the Hall of Lame. Hope they can bring Mike and Ray back for a final tour when they finally decide to hang it up. Thanks for so many memories.Flag
