Name: Don McNerney on Aug 11, 2006Comments: More than 40 years recording and performing. Early innovators of the "art rock" genre. Influenced artists as varied as Genesis, Coldplay and Aimee Mann. Toured with the Beatles and the Kinks. Expanded sonic horizons of rock to include symphonic elements. Three waves of popularity, in the late 1960s, the early 1980s, and then again in the 1990s with their orchestral touring. An enduring legacy, with more than three genrations of fans. They've done it all! The Moody Blues certainly deserve a place in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.Flag

Their music was way ahead of its time and they are legendary in their own right, so they deserve to have their work immortalised forever by being inducted into the RARHOF.Flag

Name: Lynne Richards on Sep 12, 2006Comments: There is no rock band nor will there be ANY rock band that has touched as many people as The Moody Blues. They are in a league of their own. They should have been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame years ago. Just because they are not commercial such as the Rolling Stones or the Beatles, the quality and longevity of their music far exceeds the criteria required for acceptance. Let them be instated before one of the members die..let them relish in this achievement while they still walk on this planet. Sincerely, LynneFlag

Name: Michael Clark on Sep 13, 2006Comments: Why aren't the Moody Blues in the RRHOF yet They've had one hit album, not once, not twice, but three times and that classic album is Days Of Future Passed. The Moodies have done a lot of experimentation with insturments like the mellotron and orchestra and have pulled it off. The Moodies have made great contributions to rock music for the past 40 or so years. Other groups have done less and have been inducted so why have the Moodies been ignored since they have contributed and accomplished a great deal in the rock music industry. Let's get them in the place where they belong....in the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!Flag

Name: John Graves on Sep 15, 2006Comments: The Moodies have been a deeply spiritual force in my life for a long time, in a way that's difficult to explain. As a classically trained musician, film composer, and sound designer, I strongly recommend that the Moody Blues be inducted into the Rock N Roll hall of fame. Why Because they brought a unique narrative, harmonic, and vocal style to their albums and their music that is, in my view, unsurpassed. -JCGFlag

Name: Carol McPherson on Sep 15, 2006Comments: The Moody Blues are one of the longest running bands in the world. Why have they not yet been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame This is crazy. There are bands who haven't been around half as long and haven't done near as much for rock and roll as the Moody Blues have. Yet they are in and the Moodies are still waiting patiently in line. Come on!! These guys are great and no band has been more deserving of the honour. They are a part of rock and roll history, please do what is right and give them their rightful place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.Flag

Name: Freesia on Sep 17, 2006Comments: Suzanne Rothberg who started this petition is a delusional lunatic. Justin Hayward wants nothing to do with her. By signing her petition you're feeding her delusional mind. The Moody Blues have asked Suzanne to stay away from them because of the threats she has made toward Marie Hayward. By signing this petition you'll make it even more difficult to see the band get into the RRHOF.Flag
