| 952 | Andy Huang | It's not fair to ask another $6 for each exam. The traffic is already very bad around the venue, it'll get worse when everyone has to stop and pay.
For FT student there are usually 4 exams, but some students have paper 1 and 2 or more for each subject and I just happen to know someone has 8 exams... that's close to $50!
I wondered if the parking belongs to Monash or it's rent? If so, please show us how much it cost and the impact on uni's finance!
As some mentioned, the students are more likely to arrive stressed and poorer and loose their performance. In today's exam biased marking system, this will certainly reduce the number of potentially talented students.
I entered Monash 5 years ago and thought it's doing so much better than other unis in caring students, but this year things have gone too far! For those involved in decision making, it's still not too late to make a change! |
