How is it at the end of each school year. We(parents)sit down with a team of Teachers,counselors,Speech,ot theropist to set goal and modoifications ,so our special kids get the best education they can get.ONLY to find out some if not all the teachers think they can wing-it In Facs class my daughter came home upset b/c she couldn't sew the class project,but instead got to pass the class with an A by drawling. After talking with Teacher I had discovered that she hadn't even read her IEP....HUH!!!!! Of corse, that lead me to investigate the rest of her IEP.HOLLY COW!!! I found out that she wasn't getting the counselling 1x a week that the IEP clearly states. Can you imagine how pissed i was when she told me she didn't have time for that.... These Teachers and School Staff need to know that it's not a choice,It's the LAW Please sign this petition,so I can show them at our meeting that others feel the same. Thank you, Trina
