For decades moms have been throwing away their kid’s trading cards because they thought they were a waste of time and take up space! Well I’m here to tell you they are not. Trading cards help teach our kids reading, writing, math, sports, current events, history, economics and more. The hobby of collecting and trading cards also encourages kids to engage with other kids and even adults providing them with meaningful communication and negotiating skills. More than anything though it is a fun, wholesome hobby for kids and the entire family. I’m looking for moms to join me in pledging to foster a love for the hobby of collecting cards with kids rather than throwing out something they love.
