Name: John Bach on Mar 3, 2007Comments: The world has gone completely mad if Mick'n'Phil cannot do the FLM for health and safety reasons, when any other Tom, Dick and Harry can enter - many of whom will be ill prepared and are more likely to be a health and safety risk!Flag

Name: Darren Gillman on Mar 3, 2007Comments: These guys are an inspiration to thousands of runners around the country, top quality marathoners and epitomise what the spirit of FLM should be about. How about FLM demonstrating that it has not become the vast money-grabbing enterprise that it now seems to be, and that the orignal values do still hold true.Flag

Name: Sue Shannon-Jones on Mar 3, 2007Comments: I feel that by excluding these athletes from FLM is discrimonatory. There are other more hazardous runners (such as Daleks, caterpillers and people carrying boats etc) who complete the Marathon each year. The wheelchair racers are among the footed runners, so the excuse of not having wheeled vehicles is not relevant here.Flag

Name: Sandra McDougall on Mar 3, 2007Comments: London Marathon is supposed to be about raising money for good causes, what better way to bring it the the forefront of peoples mind than to see Mick and Phil out there ,showing people it can be done and life in a wheelchair doesnt mean no life. you sohlud be ashamed of yourselves. Name: Michi Mathias on Mar 3, 2007Comments: These guys have a proven record for doing races like this safely. They are a huge inspiration to so many many people, and Mick also goes out of his way to encourage others. They've done dozens of marathons (in fast times, too) and it seems quite sad if they cannot participate in what many consider, rightly or wrongly, to be "The Marathon."Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 3, 2007Comments: Mick is a true athelete and sportsman in every sense of the word, he is also a devoted father and his son Phil loves to be part of the races. I have seen them both takiung part at many racing events over the last couple of years, he is an inspiration to every one who cames across him, I have never witnessed any problems with Mick & Phil at these events. I consider that they should be able to participate in the London Marathon, they are far less of a risk at an event such as this than those that are ill prepared and / wearing 'fun' outfits. Please, please reconsider your descion and allow them to take part in theis fantastic event.Flag
