With the President in town today and many conferences taking place in St. Paul, this week is CRITICAL in the debate for 2nd Amendment Rights in MN. If you are not paying attention, you should be. But I'm guessing if you are on this sight, you probably are paying attention, so that is a good thing;) Just know that every bit that everyone does is important. Every voice counts. Every signature matters.
I watch what is happening in NY right now and it is scary. The people are refusing to give up their guns. They believe the new laws are unconstitutional and I guess I don't blame them, but it's getting scary. But the funny thing, is that people bring up little points that keep reminding me of what it's REALLY about: CONTROL You see, New Yorkers are even still lamenting the fact that they can't go and buy a 20 oz. Pepsi if they want to because the government decided that the citizens weren't smart enough to make healthy decisions for themselves.
So again, let's bring it back to Minnesota. This issue is beyond guns. People don't want the government intruding on their lives...it's just that not everyone has an intense passion for guns. But this is one step further, what is the next? So once more, let's stand up and tell the government we WILL NOT lose one more freedom guranteed to us by our founders...NOT ONE MORE!!!
Please do what you can, while we have the opportunity. For our children and our country and those who died to protect this great country and everything we are so blessed with. FOR LIBERTY!
