On the 2nd night of having this petition live, we now have the signatures to begin gaining some local media attention...which is an important step when making political moves. Still important is networking, but this is the easiest type of networking to do...something that many of us have in common and shared interest: Not only Guns, Shooting Sports and related activities, but Freedom granted to us through the United States Constitution. I've met those who don't care for guns, but liberty and freedom are more important to them...therefore, they side with the gun-owners.
I will touch on the "verbiage" of the petition in another post, but for now, will leave my opinions in the blog portion. Feel free to comment. I am not a "gun nut", nor am I some crazy "prepper". I am a young man, with a young family, working hard to pay my bills and protect my family from a world that seems to be spiraling out of control. America is great, but our politicians have been really screwing-up lately and this issue is one more that just cannot be let go. One more attempt to strip our Constitution of its worth and value to us. I WILL NOT tell my children I did nothing to protect our founding documents.
