Comments: Constantly we are asked "why we need assault rifles" I wasn't aware of a bill of wants or needs but a bill of RIGHTS."

Comments: I strongly urge Gov. Dayton to stand by his March 5, 2012 veto letter regarding gun control. Where his position was one of protecting the 2nd Amendment and didn't see where any additional gun laws would be necessary. I am disheartened that he could take such a drastic change in opinion and willingly push to infringe upon our Constitutional Rights. Along with the authors of these outrageous bills, I see violations of their oaths!

Comments: Elements of *most* of the gun control bills heard in Committee this month violate Article 1, Sections 7-11 of the Minnesota State Constitution concerning due process and bills of attainder; they also violate the U.S. Constitution concerning the 2nd 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, and 14th Amendments, violating matters addressed in these separate and collected amendments. These bills are Unconstitutional Official Acts and as such need to be dropped, and not signed.

Comments: Such true words about our "needs" regarding 20-30 rounds magazines. It is not about our needs, it's called the Bill of RIGHTS. It really bothers me that the police officers are carrying fully automatic rifles with that capacity when we face the same threats they do, generally before they do.

Comments: We can come up with better solutions. Limiting a law abiding citizen from owning any currently legal firearm should not be one. Solve a local problem on a local level, not state wide.
