We call for the reinstatement of Cycle Scheme at MMU. The Scheme was introduced and promoted as part of MMU's Green Travel Plan, which forms part of its wider sustainability initiative. We were told it would be reinstated by March 2011. No reason has been given to explain why the Scheme remains suspended, and we have no new date for reinstatement. We find this unacceptable, especially when the other local HEIs are managing to run the Scheme successfully, and we question MMU's committment to its Green Travel Plan.
