Ban together with UW students to secure a Multicultural Learning Community in Lakeshore! In light of recent discriminatory instances on this campus and UW-Parkside and the need for more safe spaces for all students at UW-Madison that foster multiculturalism, diversity, and social justice, a Multicultural Learning Community on the Lakeshore campus is necessary and essential for this campus. University Housing needs to see a demand for this new MLC from students on this campus and especially incoming freshman. By signing this petition, we will be sending a message to University Housing that students value safe spaces for diversity and that a MLC on Lakeshore is a space for all students.
