While genuine conversions of faith, most conversions exploit the poverty and vulnerable position of the tribals. Missionaries come well armed with funds, have deep connections in the media, induce coercion and fraudulent methods of conversion. For example only those who are willing to convert are given the benefits of school, food etc. Hence these are used as bait to engender conversion.
Conversion usually destroy the tribal culture. The Nagaland example vividly shows how the new converts in concert with the church indulge in anti national activities and advocate Nagaland for Christ -- a far cry from the secular and tolerant moorings of India. |

The Indo-European faiths (cousin faiths to Hinduism, Jainism and Hinduism) where almost completely distroyed by the barbarism and exclusiveness of Christianity.
People may say "you are against Christianity' and I say 'yes I am'. I do not hate Christians but their faith teaches exclusivism and eternal hell and damnation for non-believers. It is not a faith of love and tolerance as Fundamentalist Christianity clearly shows.
For years the Christian missionaries and the Christian terrorists from Nagarland have terrorized the Indian subcontinent. I do not condone anti-Christian violence as I believe in ahmisa, however, the aggression of the Christians must stop. It has already damaged Europe and ruled it with an iron fist and I would hate the same to be done in India. Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism in their truest forms are spiritually advanced and tolerant (everyone will reach Nirvana and all faiths have some truth in them etc..) and far superior to the faith of YHWH who commits genocide, infanticide and demands enemy sacrifices in their own holy book. |
