Name: Adriane Crawford on Nov 11, 2007Comments: My husband also serves in the United States Air Force. He is a search and rescue pilot. He puts his life on the line to safe others. I also agree that the amount is excessive. Mistakes were made, and lives were put in danger. The over compensation does not give those people their lives back. A better compensation would be to make sure that it does not happen again. The men and women who died for this country knew they were in harms way. Anyone who is in a moving vechicle is also in harms way. Should everyone who has died in a accident because of road construction or other government road problems also be compensatedFlag
