Comments: I totally agree with what this wonderful military wife has to say! Wht should the government make loss opf life settlements for more than what our military gets. It should be the same across the board.

Comments: I to am a Airforce wife and feel very strongly about what Heather has to say. I believe some compensation is due, but to what amount, certainly not as much as a soldier who died in the line of duty. Thanks

Comments: my husband was in the military as well, but he is no longer in the military..i feel the same way about this situation as heather does...i think that it is appalling that the victims of the bridge tragedy and i say tragedy would recieve more in compensation than that of our soldiers defending our country

Comments: My husband also serves in the United States Air Force. He is a search and rescue pilot. He puts his life on the line to safe others. I also agree that the amount is excessive. Mistakes were made, and lives were put in danger. The over compensation does not give those people their lives back. A better compensation would be to make sure that it does not happen again. The men and women who died for this country knew they were in harms way. Anyone who is in a moving vechicle is also in harms way. Should everyone who has died in a accident because of road construction or other government road problems also be compensated
