Comments: Something needs to be done (perhaps a speed bump) to slow traffic in front of Orr Elementary School. Although there are designated cross walks with lights at each end of the school fronting Minnesota Avenue, a lot of the children still cross in the middle of the block.

Comments: The speeding traffic on Minnesota Ave SE between Pennsylvania Ave and East Capitol Street has reached a critical point and now requires the immediate intervention of city officials. Drivers rarely obey cross-walk laws and the average speed is at least 15 miles over the 30 mile per hour limit. While Minnesota is a thoroughfare, it is also a highly populated and vibrant neighborhood avenue. The city's priority should be the safe passage of its residents and not the convenience of commuters.

Comments: a camera should also be installed at the light on Pennsylvania Avenue by the post office after the Sousa Bridge. Often cars do not even slow down and blow through the intersection putting pedestrians at risk

Comments: The entire traffic concern on Minnessota Ave has long gone without proper review. There are several options needed to abate the traffic matters. Not only is there a speed issue, but congestion, pedestrian saftey, parking concerns,. All these relates items speak volumes for an area that needs it's entire infrastucture redesigned.
