Name: Gene West on Feb 28, 2008Comments: There are sufficient laws in place to pretect the environment from modern mining degredations. As a miner, I am amazed to hear the rhetoric about land for free which we miners are supposed to be able to get! Please send me the locations! Getting a claim is a tiresome expensive process, and opening a mine is wildly difficult in many ways. Please do not make it any harder by rescinding the Law of 1872. It helped make America great!Flag
