There is a movement going on right now in the ranks of the fast food and restaurant workers. Hundreds of thousands of men and women, single and married, are living under the poverty level by only making $7.25 and hour. There is NO WAY a person can have any kind of a normal life and live in comfortable conditions. Making this poverty level income only causes these same workers to apply for governmental assistance and rely on whatever government assistance they can obtain. This is totally unacceptable for a country that is considered "Land of Oportunity".
