| 201 | Lee Hibbs | Americans want what Detroit will not deliver, a diesel in a great car. |
| 202 | Owen Hardy | |
| 203 | Anonymous | I would trade in my 2005 Mini Cooper convertible for a Cooper D convertible. |
| 204 | rosalind freas | I want one!
Several years ago, I tried to buy a Mini Cooper but was very disappointed in gas mileage. I knew that Europe had the Mini One, but I was told that it was not available in the US. Now, Europe has the Mini Cooper D. Please, please allow the Mini One and Mini D to be sold in the United States. I don't want to buy a Prius! |
| 205 | Tom McClure | Bring IT!!!!! |
| 206 | Jerry Smith | Bring the mini cooper D to the USA. My wife wants a mini, and if you bring the diesel here in 2008 I will buy one.
Thank you. |
| 207 | Bob Overton | This car could make my purchase a mini even sooner than I was originally going to. |
| 208 | Jeff | Oil companies are NOT getting "greedier".
In fact, if you look over a period of 10, 20, 30, etc. years, you'll see that oil companies have made less than 50% of the profits made by companies in the S&P 500.
High gas prices are due to maxed out refineries that have to make at least 7 different blends to comply with our 50 states.
And now, low-sulfur diesel is an additional process that will add cost.
With maxed out 30-40 year old refineries, and Americans insist on driving gas-hogs they don't need, is why we have to import over 50% of our gasoline.
Diesel are far superior, both in power and MPG.
Look at Le Mans,...not only did the Audi diesel blow away the gasoline cars to win at Le Mans, it was so efficient that they had to create a new rule to limit the size of the fuel tank so that gasoline versions would have a chance.
The US needs more diesel models to choose from, of all sizes, and the Diesel MINI is just one of many BMW should import to the US. |
| 209 | Greg bridwell | I have a 2003 MCS JCW. Bring the diesel and we'll but it! |
| 210 | RUSS NYBERG | |
| 211 | Ian Venable | Please do this! My wife and I have been waiting for a new subcompact diesel in the US for YEARS. |
| 212 | Anonymous | |
| 213 | Anonymous | Either get cars with better miliage per gallon or get rid of the price gougers! |
| 214 | John Taylor | With surety I intend to purchase a fun Automobile this fall (2007)that is economical to drive and more friendly to our mother earth. I would like it to be a MINI COOPER D if at all possible.
To the people at MINI / BMW I am sure that you could not keep up with the demand in the USA for this ideal automoible at this unique time , your company would be riding on the front of a large wave leading the the way for all other auto manufacturers.
Build them & we will buy them.
P. S. I am ready to order mine. |
| 215 | Keith Kepler | Why not help tame the US fuel bug by bringing the wonderful car to the US? It would sell like HOT CAKES! |
| 216 | Meera | Why not the USA? Safe our planet! Bring us the Cooper D |
| 217 | Jason Mansour | It's a mini and it's diesel. What more can you ask for . . . other than making it available to the U.S. market? Share the love...share the fuel efficiency...share the joy of driving a Mini Diesel. Thank you! |
| 218 | Anonymous | Please do i'm tired of wasting all my cash at the pump when icould waste it buying another bmw :) |
| 219 | Anonymous | |
| 220 | Daniel Kongs | I currently use biodiesel and would like to see more diesel selecetions. |
| 221 | Alex Hatcher | |
| 222 | Anonymous | BMW, bring them and sell them. Get on with the game that other companies are doing. We'll be very happy and you will be. |
| 223 | Sylvan Grimm | ONE D...........Bring it over!!!! |
| 224 | Christopher Hanzel | BMW and MINI please bring the Cooper D to the USA. I commute 750 miles a week and love to drive on weekends and have 77,000 miles on a 2.5 year old Cooper. I would love to drive a more fuel effiecient version of this nimble little pocket rocket!! |
| 225 | Anonymous | |
| 226 | Edward Donovan | |
| 227 | Karl Schlager | I own a 2006 Mini S-- I want a Mini Diesel
I have owened VW diesels before.
Bring them to the USA -- They will sell, sell, sell |
| 228 | chris Ullrich | If you bring it here I WILL buy one. |
| 229 | JACK HAYES | Can you give me info to come there from U.S.A. , and purchase a mini-d cooper and ship it back? |
| 230 | Jack Lawton | Twice the fuel economy, and yet, not a complicated hybird. Please allow it to come to the USA. I am tired of seeing new mid teen MPG cars on the lots. I want to start enjoying real fuel effeciencies. Here is your slogan: Mini's line of vechicles is the most fuel effecient line of cars sold in America. Please make this a reality. |
| 231 | Anonymous | this will be one great commuter car that
I will surely buy |
| 232 | Eric Henry | another way to reduce our carbon footprint |
| 233 | Anonymous | I would buy one today! |
| 234 | Anonymous | Bring this diesel and ALL other BMW diesel cars over here! PLEASE!!! |
| 235 | Anonymous | hay bring it here or we'll firebomb your asses again |
| 236 | Matthew | |
| 237 | Mark Ludl | PLEASE, PLEASE bring this car to the US. It would be a n instant hit and sell like hot cakes! Just make sure it has a manual transmision! |
| 238 | Brant Wakeman | |
| 239 | sherry Schwartz | |
| 240 | Joe Zalik | Please bring the MINI D to the US.....we are starving for fun, super fuel efficient cars here. |
| 241 | kyle bulmann | A cooper with a diesel engine will, just like other mini offerings, not be able to keep up with demand. The price off premium fuel for the S model is a downfall to most. The lower price and the mileage of a diesel model would bring a whole new segment of would be hybrid drivers into a mini. |
| 242 | Dan Kennedy | |
| 243 | michael prince | |
| 244 | Anonymous | If it was available here I'd purchase one. |
| 245 | Donald A. Bragg | I want a Mini D |
| 246 | Dion Lisle | I am desperately looking for a small to mid-size diesel for California - whoever is first, i will buy it. Audi, Mini, VW...please someone deliver a nice small diesel like i see all over Europe. |
| 247 | Brent Baker | Bring the Mini Diesel!! |
| 248 | Dennis Palmer | BMW has usually been a forward thinking company, keep it up and bring a diesel Mini to the US. The public wants it more than it is said in the press. |
| 249 | Joe Smith | |
| 250 | Anonymous | Diesels may not be great in really cold areas, but much of the US is mostly warm, so mini should bring in the diesel mini. Until mini does, many people will avoid their other models and buy better gas milage (regular gas) cars like the prius. |
