Jonas LaPointe | I currently drive a 1981 VW rabbit diesel pickup. It gets over 40 mpg and I love it but would sign up for a mini diesel in a hearbeat.
Alan L Mitchell | As nice as a diesel mini would be, a hybrid diesel would be better. A true 100 mpg vehicle oh well we can dream.
Nimit Sharma | Please we need this car, what are you guys thinking?
Mark Littrell | I would buy a Clubman D period. I am looking to buy in the 2010 model year & yearn for the clubman D.

Asa | regardless of fuel prices, a mini Diesel is a great idea. Please bring them Stateside!
| 1670 | Rick Brennan | Giddyup lets go! I want a Cooper D. I think sales may be an issue, but the real problem (as I understand it) is the crazy US ultra-low sulfur diesel requirements. Diesel in the UK (I think) has a higher sulfur content than in the US which plays into some of the engineering. There are also emissions issues. Not sure, but all seem to be problems which could be overcome.
How do we import one? |

Jennifer Jackson | I am in the market right now, and will probably end up buying a 1981 used diesel. I would buy one of these today, if I had the option. We already run biodiesel in a truck, but now I am ending up commuting, and need something small.

Anonymous | I would love to get a Cooper D.
Cheryl Desmond |
Terry Sherwood | This just makes sense, until petrol cars can get the same kind of mileage, diesels are the way to go.
ryan barone | Bring this car here, and I will replace my Jetta TDI. US carmakers, beware.
Chris Kauth | bring the diesel mini to the US! I would buy one in a heartbeat....
Anonymous | I will buy the Turbodiesel in a NY secont if it where offered in the US. Also you should make the 4wd a option on Coopers instead of offering it only in your new crossover..... FYI not sure about crossover the pics I have seen looks like it something from Pixar,
John A. DeCesaris | I would buy a Cooper D if offerred in the US Market. OK, so the speedo in the center of the dash is a bit strange..... I have driven a VW TDI for the past 7 years. Its efficiency and reliability are remarkable. I would never go back to gasoline.
