| 1428 | Bill Newbold | Currently I have a 1999 Crown Vic with 140,000 miles. Great car. However, it is getting older. I plan to get a new car early 2009. Currently, I am looking at Acura TSX Diesel and VW Jetta Diesel both expected later this year. I believe that diesel is a better alternative than hybrids and hope that refineries will invest to make diesel cheaper. I will also be looking at the Mini; however, if the mini were offered in diesel it would be my top pick. I have sent emails to Mini with a weak responce. Basically, "Thanks for your interest we are not offering that." I am on the mini web site at least once a month and really like the car. I worry about VW reliabilty. I also really like Acura TSX. |
