| 51 | George | I own a 2006 Jetta TDI and would love to own a Mini D!!! |
| 52 | Aaron Ximm | I am a current MINI Cooper owner ('04), and I hereby pledge to upgrade immediately to a brand new 07 or higher Cooper D should BMW bravely decide to bring them to the United States and sell them in California.
There is no need to reiterate here the arguments for greater fuel economy and using biodiesel whenever possible.
Note: I would run the D on biodiesel. |

| 61 | Anonymous | I have always liked small sporty cars and will only drive a stick. But I also want high gas mileage and quiet. I have never understood why the sporty cars sold in the US are overpowered, noisy, and overmuscular looking. That is the impression I get from the MC-S. I would buy a MC-D in a heartbeat. |
| 62 | Carl Spanoghe | Please please please please. I could have a fun to drive car without having the guilt of driving on petrol. |
| 63 | Casey Hall | Bring this car into the U.S. Why depend on oil companies to gouge us. We can run these cars on french fry grease. |

| 74 | Joe Gibson | I have been looking for a replacement for my 2004 Mini. One of the main criteria is a better powertrain at the low end (higher torque - lower first gear). The GTI's powertrain is great. The Nissian SE-R has a fun powertrain. I am very interested in the Mini Cooper D! |
| 75 | Tory Frangella | |
| 76 | Babak Bina | I own a 2002 Cooper in the US. I would buy another tomorrow if you bring the Diesel version were available here. |

Rolf Grumme. |
| 80 | Anonymous | VW is kicking your butt with the 50mpg tdi diesel. Bring on the mini-d. |

| 82 | Anonymous | Importing the Mini D is a "no brainer". Low sulfur diesel and a turbo should make the emissions grade. |
| 83 | kyle seto | the mini cooper d is a definite must...to offer it in this day and age of environmentalism and energy conservation, yet with untouchable style and performance...all in one little package made by a highly respected and desirable auto manufacturer. |

| 91 | Kurt Edelbach | just do it |
| 92 | Patricia Garmhausen | This would be a huge seller in the states. I can't believe BMW wouldn't bring it here. If they don't - I'll sell my current Mini and buy a fuel efficient VW diesel instead. |
| 93 | Anonymous | Please give consumers in the US an alternative to the high-priced hybrids being offered. We want performance and style in our fuel-efficient cars! |
| 94 | Dan | Bring on the Diesels to the USA! We need fuel economy without losing driving dynamics. I have a 2000 BMW 323Ci. My next car will be a diesel. Honda, Toyota, BMW/Mini? Give me a choice. |
