| 1 | Mike Shafer | Bring on the MINI Cooper D!!! |
| 2 | Floyd Owens | Yes, BMW we anxiously await the MINI D.
I'll buy one. |

| 4 | S Atwood | |
| 5 | Alistair Taylor | Sign me up! |
| 6 | Anonymous | I just bought a 2007 and would gladly trade it in for a Cooper D. |
| 7 | aramis | take mini dooper to the States you...... |
| 8 | Jonathan Welsh | If you guys bring this car to the U.S. I will buy one. I currently own 2 VW TDI vehicles & understand the diesel's importance in moving toward energy independence in this country. I personally believe that Cooper will discover that they cannot keep the diesel versions in stock because they will sell so quickly. |
| 9 | J Miller | I will buy one the day I find out they're available. |
| 10 | Christopher Rownd | I'll buy one. I'd even go to the extent of importing one from Europe! |
| 11 | Geoff Cosden | If the MINI Cooper D (diesel) were offered in the US market in 2008 or 2009, I would absolutely buy one. |

| 13 | John Schmidt | I am an American who always tries to buy the most fuel efficient car available. That is a very difficult task here in the U.S. with the herd mentality that made the SUV the vehicle of choice. There has always been a more environmentally minded driver that longs for more fuel efficient vehicles ( not to mention a sporty, fun to drive vehicle). My wife and I currently own two of the most fuel efficient cars around. Namely the Volkswagen Golf TDI, and Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Both are diesels. Within the next year or so, I will be purchasing a new car. I have admired the New Mini Cooper since it was introduced, but purchased Volkswagens because of their superior fuel efficiency. The Mini cooper D could be my next car, if you would only make it available in this country.
Bottom line, the time is right to introduce the Mini Cooper D into the United States. BMW could make quite a bit of money from this decision, and do something very environmentally responsible in the long term. A true win, win situation for BMW.
Respectfully,
John Schmidt |
| 14 | Anonymous | At this point in time it is obvious to me that the Mini One D (diesel) would sell like hot cakes in the United States. HOT CAKES i say! I am in the market for a new car this summer. Currently, I have a 2002Mini and my next car will be a diesel or a Mini... leaning towards the diesel. Gotta do it! That's just the facts. VW here i come unless BMW/Mini tells me some good news. :-)

| 16 | Don DeVries | I would Buy 2 h=jusr because of tne mpg |
| 17 | Mike Stolarski | I want a diesel! |
| 18 | Patrick Wheat | Seriously.....this directly appeals to your target market -figure it out for gods sake..... |
| 19 | jack schurig | I would buy a mini diesel immediately. |
| 20 | David Rowney | I own a 2005 MINI Cooper S. I would immediately order a Cooper D when they become available. I want a car with the same size and handling as an S with sports suspension, but with DOUBLE the fuel economy! |
| 21 | Mark Wlodarkiewicz | the time is now to do this. |
| 22 | Ace | I'm trying to see about importing a Dooper right now. It's such a shame that they won't give us the MINI Cooper D even though we are are all begging for it. I've got a VW Jetta TDI right now that I can sell for a great price just because diesels are so hard to get in the USA. Now that more diesels are coming in 2008, it's time for the MINI to arrive.
Bottom line: I'd order a MINI Cooper D immediately when it came to the USA. |
| 23 | Rich | I have had a TDI Jetta for 6 months and am absolutely sold on diesels. My wife wants a mini. This would be a shoe-in. The guy who said about target markets above is absolutely right. |
| 24 | Matthew G Crews | i want a diesel mini, bad |
| 25 | Trey Cranson | |
| 26 | Marco Walsh | We would buy a MINI Cooper D today, given the opportunity. There are now several biodiesel dealers in town (Santa Cruz, CA), and the MC is the perfect commuter vehicle over the curvy mountain highway. 60mpg?!? Please bring us this car! |
| 27 | Tomasz Czerkas | |
| 28 | John Melilli | |
| 29 | John Melilli | |
| 30 | Glen Hatten Jr | I want a mini D it needs to be produced in the US for the really good EPA standards and it gets 64 MPG as well. |
| 31 | Byron Sanderson | I own a Jetta TDI with higher miles and I want somthing fun that can beat it in mpg and doubles as my7 commuter. Mini D is a perfect choice. |
| 32 | Jane Chen | |
| 33 | Anonymous | Bring on the diesels. |
| 34 | Carolyn DeVolder | |
| 35 | Anonymous | Please, give the MINI D a fair trial in the US. You will be pleasantly suprised! |
| 36 | Kent Shaffer | Please add Diesel to all models possible, it will save the world! |
| 37 | Jennifer Blake | PLEASE, please bring the MINI D to the USA! I would buy one! In fact, put me on a waiting list!
MINI D! MINI D! MINI D! |
| 38 | Andy Seavy | |
| 39 | James Synoski | I'd buy one in a snap |
| 40 | Thomas Smith | |
| 41 | Jon Seaman | How soon can I get one |
| 42 | Josh Stallings | Yes bring the MINI Cooper D to the states. I curantly own a 2005 MINI S, and would gladly trade "up" to a diesel. |
| 43 | Kelly Keener | |
| 44 | Joel Mizrahi | Bring diesel to the USA. |
| 45 | Anonymous | |
| 46 | Sherry Crosslin | My husband and I have bought four MINIs so far, including one of the rare GPs. When the Dooper is sold in the US, we will buy one. I used to own a VW TDI and still miss the soft purr of a diesel engine. |
| 47 | Felix Kuehling | I live in Canada, but I'm sure if the MINI Cooper D comes to the US it would also improve the chances of getting them in Canada. I'm buying a MINI Cooper because it's one of the most fuel-efficient cars available here. Had the Cooper D been available, I would have bought one. |
| 48 | Shawn Desrosiers | and don't forget about Canada! |
| 49 | Gordon Reifenstein | Well worth the effort to bring it here! |
| 50 | Warren | I would definately buy a diesel Mini. I also asked MINIUSA if I could get a RHD in the US, and they said no. (Silly reasons, too; toll booths, etc.) Too bad, it would go nicely with my RHD 68 Mini. |
