We are concerned voters and citizens of our newly formed city of Milton, and residents of Fulton County. A 150 ft. elevated water tower has been approved for construction by Fulton County Commissioners. The water tower is to be located on Freemanville Road. The reason given is that the northwest Fulton County has inadequate water pressure due to its distance from the water plant, area ground elevation, and the inability of Fulton County Public works to fill the current ground level water tank located at Freemanville Road. Pritchard Mountain Water LLC (a consortium of four land developers) has designed a comprehensive water delivery system enabling adequate water pressure using a pumping station. Fulton county Public works still intends to build a 150 ft water tower to replace this pumping station as a means of enabling adequate water pressure and storage redundancy. Independant engineers indicate an adequate water solution can be achieved by building a back-up pump and ground level water tank. Many cities across the United States, including the City of Atlanta, do not use elevated water towers for this purpose due to high rise buildings. I HAVE BEEN SPENDING MY TIME MEETING WITH LOCAL EXPERTS TO PROVE THAT A MASSIVE TOWER IS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY!! WE ARE PUSHING HARD FOR THE BACKUP PUMP SOLUTION BECAUSE IT PROTECTS OUR SKYLINE AND SAVES OUR NEIGHBORHOOD CHARACTER!! THE PRESSURE IS MOUNTING AND WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN UNTIL THEY LISTEN TO US!!

150 feet is way to high. It will look like a total eyesore in such a nice neighborhood. Why cant they just go with the pump station like the engineers said?

Total waste of money when a pump station works just fine. Fulton County needs to stop ignoring what the actual residents want. Its ridiculous.

Use the underground tanks. Technology exists to avoid these ugly towers but they just dont want to listen.

This tower is going to ruin property values for everyone nearby. Nobody wants to live next to that thing.
