This is a petition to inform the people of Millbrook, Al that there is a huge need for traffic signals and traffic lights on Highway 14. On November 23, 2010 there was a 4 car collision that lead to the death of 3 people and a number of injuries to those who survived the crash. Traffic signals should be implemented at the intersection of Grandview Rd. and Oak Tree Rd. because of the amount of car crashes and fatalities in this location. The traffic signals will also assist in the need to deter the speeders who makes it even harder to access Highway 14 from Grandview Rd. and Oak Tree Rd. If something isn't done to fix this ongoing problem it will only lead to more fatalities because of the lack of traffic signals and lights. Also, with the addition of a new apartment complex and Super Wal-mart the need to fix this problem is even greater.
