She believed in me, even when I didn't && always encouraged me to strive for my best. I plan on keeping my promise to her. When I write that book she so kindly believed I would, she'll still recieve the first copy.Flag

Name: Kristal Velez on Mar 8, 2007Comments: Milan really helped me out last year. She was the ONLY teacher that saw potential in my writing. I never knew I was a person who could write well, until I had the honor of being in her class. She has inspired my writing in many ways and for that I am very thankful. Not only has she helped me realize my potential but she helped me see the potential in others as well. The events that occurred in her room my 10 grade year, are ones that I will never forget. I will always cherish the memories I have of that class, and the friends that I made.Flag

Name: Jason Rymer on Mar 8, 2007Comments: Ms. Milan was the first teacher that made me think a teacher could be a friend....She was the first teacher that actualy showed interest in my music...She was the first teacher that didn't laugh in my face when i said i wanted to play guitar for a living...She was one of the first teachers that truly left things up to your own opinion...she could control her classes, but she didnt have to because she treated us like adults, and that made us behave....for her i sign this, not just my favorite english teacher, but as a verry good friend of mineFlag

Name: John on Mar 9, 2007Comments: One of the worst teachers I've ever had, if you can even call her a teacher, seeing as I learned pretty much nothing the semester I had her. We played scrabble every other day, and some days she decided she just wasnt going to do any teaching at all. She rewarded the underachievers and looked down on the students who disagreed with her liberal ideals, ones that she shared with my class very often. She was too concerned with kids personal lives and not concerned enough with our education, which is the primary job of a teacher, and what they get paid to do. Personally, I'm glad the school actually did what's right for once and got her and her leftist, distorted way of thinking out of our school.Flag
