| 270 | Anonymous | Yes, I am one who can get a headache/migraine from certain lighting. I had to leave one job many years ago due to the overhead tubes....so these new "required" bulbs scare me...I do NOT want them in my home and do NOT want to be forced to buy them. And they are NOT safer for the enviornment.
This madness of government mandates must stop! Especially since someone is benefitting from this and it IS NOT the consumer! |

| 278 | Terry Vinocur | Please do not outlaw incandescent bulbs as they are the only choice for people like me who suffer from migraines. Give us a choice!!
Thank you. |

| 280 | jill bagley | flourescent bulbs are actually harmful to the environment. the contain mercury!!! who wants harmful mercury in their house if one breaks? they are just covering up one problem with another. they are not a solution. |
| 281 | R Bruce McCreary | I have epilepsy (complex partial seizures) and MS.
Compact and other fluorescent lighting are profoundly debilitating to me, in a very short time. I cannot use them in my home, and am already unable to be in most public buildings for more than 10 minutes (on a good day) because of them.
I am also concerned that the LED lighting that is proposed will also create high frequency emissions throughout the home wiring due to their use of switch mode power (SMP) technology, much as the compact fluorescents do. Holding an AM radio tuned between stations near either of these let your hear the problem clearly.
We are legislating ourselves into increasing illness and health care costs with the present law.
Just go for the carbon energy tax and let every home or business owner figure out how to best reduce his/her energy. |

| 293 | T Cogan | I cannot go into a business that has high intensity fluorescent lighting with experiencing dizziness and almost immediate severe migraine, occassionally I have ended up with complicated migraine and severe consequences. Please repeal this bill or at least amend it. |
| 294 | Anonymous | Fluorescent lights trigger my migraines. I avoid shopping in stores with fluorescent lights. When I have to shop in those stores I wear a wide brim hat and dark glasses. My migraines are severe and put me out of commission for a week |

| 296 | Mary Deugaw | Since working in front of a computer and under fluorescent lights all day, there has been an increase in my migraines. I am out of work more often and losing valuable hours. |
| 297 | Lara Gordanier | Please consider Migraineurs in this new energy change. Having this type of lighting in public areas causes problems for us in almost all areas of our lives outside of our homes. |
