I have lived in Michigan for almost 30 years and I am disgusted to see what has got on through this economic meltdown in our great state and country. Our elected officials are taking advantage of us. The "blue collar" workers are making consessions and taking pay cuts to stay working while our so call "leaders" are taking pay "freezes" and less car allowances all while underfunding the Michigan school system. I am calling for all Michigan residents to sign my petition to have our elected government officials throughout the state take a 10% pay cut and put the savings into our failing school systems and other state run programs to help in this economic chrisis that Michigan is facing. Everyone is calling for change but the change needs to start at the top.

its about time the people at the top felt what the rest of us go through. my hours have been cut for two years straight while they sit in lansing and do nothing.

10% is not even enough!! they are robbing us blind while our kids schools are falling apart. do the right thing for once.
