Please help us to keep our local charity from having to close down due to Middlesbrough Council funding cuts!

Middlesbrough Shopmobility opened it's doors on the 1st November 2001, with it's official launch on 30th November. It will be celebrating it's 10th birthday this month! Although a dark cloud hangs over their future. Middlesbrough Council are threatening to cease funding, which will see Middlesbrough Shopmobility closing their doors - leaving the people who rely on them without a service, and the staff there out of work! The scheme helps people who have limited mobility to have access to Middlesbrough Town Centre, allowing greater freedom to the full range of facilities Middlesbrough has to offer.

For the past 5 years, we at Bainbridge Mobility have had the pleasure of working with Middlesbrough Shopmobility, from servicing their equipment - keeping it too the high standard they require, to also supplying them with new equipment so that their clients are never let down. Our customers always comment on what a good service they've receive from the staff at Middlesbrough Shopmobility, and usually follow it up with saying it is the best one they have used!

As part of it's birthday celebrations, hire charges during the whole of November will revert back to what they were in 2001.

On 30th November there will be a cake and coffee day where people can drop in to find out more about what their service has to offer.

So help us to keep Middlesbrough Shopmobility's doors open and sign our online petition  - or call into our ocal showroom and sign one of our forms.

Many thanks,

Steven, Dave, Angie and Donna
