MICROSOFT AGAINST OUR RIGHT OF SPEECH!

Dear Microsoft, I'm here talking about your "Game Content Usage Rules". You know, that stuff about filming using your games like Halo. Well, I have to say, it's a bunch of bullshit. First of all, I can understand you not wanting us to make money off your products, but trust me, most machinima-makers don't. Most of us are teenagers-to-guys in their 20s in someone's basement. I'm broke, and I film machinimas along with my clan (yes, gamer lingo, get over it) and that's what we're passionate about. This is a newly-born artform. And you guys throttled the baby in its crib. Shame on you. You should be honored we picked YOUR games to film on. Also, how stupid is it to think we're not going to use user-created items on Halo Custom Edition, a game FOR user-created items Or say, no violence on Halo Do you even read what you type Do you think we fell asleep at a nuclear reactor and now all we have is flesh and eyes To quote one of the makers of the Codex series, an amazing machinima that can't make its sequel thanks to you, you "had the opportunity to be at the vanguard of this movement and to go down in history as the company that shepherded community participation from the fringes to the heart of hte intertainment world." Why annihilate peoples' creativity This actually increases the replay value of your games AND it's even a walking advertisement. You don't spend any money, we don't gain any money, people get interested, people buy your products. So next time, ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOU'RE DOING BEFORE COMING UP WITH THIS BULLSHIT. : Sincerely, Leland Pan («¢ëMm»now, proud member of the Custom Edition Movie Makers clan and we'll keep making movies) PS: Here's a link to the Codex series. http://www.thecodexseries.com/ew/ And, did you have anything to do with Red vs. Blue ending right before these guidelines came out That was CEMM's co founder. BUT SERIOUSLY MICROSOFT CUT THE CRAP YOU ARENT GONNA LOSE 098701298374093 BILLION DOLLARS ON US MAKING FREAKING VIDEOS! Thank you! Take back the guideline and the stupid rules.
