Comments: I live next to an Apodment, I previously e-mailed the city council and the mayor with my concerns and objections, I was ignored ! Count me in, and contact me if there is something I can do to move this forward. In addition, I'd like to see this as an issue in the upcoming election to make sure we know how each candidate weighs in (remember the CAP inititiative back in the 80's ? ) thanks, keep it up.

Comments: These apodments will destroy Capitol Hill, especially since this density comes without accomodation for parking. I'd like to see the mayor and the city council members put these buildings in THEIR neighborhoods and not force them on ours.

Comments: One of the edits to the existing city code need to provide protection of the solar access of existing dwellings. The solar access dedication to solar panels and gardening, both elements of sustaining a "green city". The gardening should not be excluded from protection in a solar access clause, because it is not a "utility". Many lower and middle income households grow a percentage of their food.

Comments: The "dwelling unit" doesn't take into account the severe lack of parking that already exists on the streets. If the number of planned new units is added we will not be able to accommodate all the new cars. This idea is very unfair to existing residents and the desire to add more units through these apodments must be prevented from clogging what is currently a desireable neighborhood to live but we're quickly getting crowded out.

Comments: Apodments should bare their fare share of cost, taxes and parking in our neighborhoods. The 56 units on 13th and John has no parking. Surely many of those residents have cars and it's not fair that the developer has no responsibility to provide a single parking spot for residents or guests. SHAME SHAME SHAME !!!

Comments: I am outraged at the speed at which my neighborhood is being ruined by greedy developers without a conscience. Grand old homes are being demolished. Out of character 4-story buildings are being planned to cast shadow on existing buildings and these modern structures do not fit in or compliment the surrounding neighborhood. Parking and traffic are as horrendous as the street surfaces and more vehicles promise to cause further deterioration of our streets. Stop the sardine can trend!
