Name: Carol Lehman on Dec 13, 2012Comments: I have been directly affected by this loophole in regulation. A house across the street from my apt. building was torn down and is becoming a 40-unit apodment building. What was listed in public files as an 8-unit development, became 40 after the design review. This is clearly a violation of the intention of regulation rules and the city ignores it!!Flag

Name: Kathleen Ritz on Dec 13, 2012Comments: Clarify the meaning of dwelling unit, then update the rules and regs. And please don't dilly dally on this issue. And accept that no rule or regulation will be perfect for all time. Seattle is rapidly growing and developing.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 13, 2012Comments: I am deeply concerned as a homeowner and resident of Capitol Hill on Harvard Avenue E. in Seattle. Apodments and high density studio type multi-dwelling constructions have no place in residential areas that already struggle with overcrowding, lack of on street parking and traffic congestion issues. I am opposed to the development of this housing style and am deeply concerned that there are no processes in place to protect the integrity of the Capitol Hill area.Flag
