Name: Joyce Glasgow on Dec 12, 2012Comments: Please do not ruin the character of our Seattle neighborhoods with high density apodments and other dwellings which are out of scale with our neighborhoods. Seattleites live in our city for a particular reason- that Seattle is a "livable" city. Please do not take us down the paths of other big cities that have become stressful and unbearable places to live because of their thoughtless, careless and cavalier treatment of "density"!Flag

Name: Zac Eskenazi on Dec 12, 2012Comments: I live in the Eastlake neighborhood. And I specifically oppose the building of an a"pod"ment complex in the 2300 block of Franklin Ave E. This type of building does not fit in with the size of buildings found in the area. It should be treated as the 48 unit apartment complex it is and be subject to the same rules and regulations that other large buildings in the city are subjected to.Flag

Name: Joel Baker on Dec 12, 2012Comments: As Seattle inevitably grows & evolves, City government must keep abreast of these issues. Over the past year, I understand, the City is already 19 apodiments behind. Please "get with it" immediately. Waiting to develop the PERFECT set of definitions & rules will only make the situation worse. Thanks for your attention to the matter. Joel BkaerFlag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 12, 2012Comments: There are more than enough podments on Capitol Hill. I read in paper that the density on Capitol Hill has already surpassed the density plans marked for 2025. We need to concentrate on infrastructure for the people already living here not increasing density with podments even furtherFlag

Name: Christy Elton on Dec 12, 2012Comments: I am very unhappy about the micro-housing being built on Franklin Ave. There is no neighborhood review and so I have gotten so much miss-information. We paid $80.00 for the constructions plans and had a very unpleasant meeting with the developer. A neighborhood review moderated by the DPD would help so much.Flag

Name: David C. Keyser on Dec 12, 2012Comments: To consider one floor with 6-8 units and one common area kitchen ONE UNIT is ludicrous. These are not one units they are separate units. These units are apartments and should be permitted as such. Please place a permit / construction moratorium on micro housing until all this can be sorted out.Flag

Density has its place in urban neighborhoods but there needs to be a process in place to fully vet the impact of permitting the construction of apodments or microhousing type construction.Flag
