Please help to keep Michael Woodmansee in prison! In 1975, at the age of 16, he lured Jason Foreman, age 5, into his house and stabbed him once in the chest with a kitchen knife & sexually assaulted him. He wrapped the young boys dead body in a plastic bag, then carpet and put him in a trunk where he left him for 4 years, until his father was going to clean the basement and wanted the trunk removed. In 1982, he attacked and attempted to strangle a 14 year old paper boy, who luckily, got away and police were called. Michael Woodmansee later confessed to killing Jason Foreman. The police found a journal that detailed exactly what was done to Jason. Jason's bones were found shellacked and kept in a box on Michael's bedroom dresser. The state medical examiner said that the flesh had all been purposely removed. The details in the journal have not been revealed, but it is believed that he may have eaten the boy's flesh. He only received a 40 year sentence to avoid a grueling & painful trial for Jason's family. Due to RI's prison reward system, Michael Woodmansee has been able to shave TWELVE years off of his sentence for "good behavior" and holding a job in prison.
