Stop Walmart from coming to Morgan Hill

86 Signatures Goal: 100

Help us send the message to the City Council that bringing Wal-Mart into Morgan Hill is the wrong decision for our city. Currently Wal-Mart is planned to take over the old Target building. Wal-Mart is already open in our sister cities (Gilroy & So. San Jose), so bringing them to Morgan Hill will only steal existing business, not obtain new business. Well respected cities such as Los Gatos, Saratoga, etc have not allowed this retail monster to enter their local markets and kill local business and we shouldn't either. Morgan Hill's ability to maintain its niche appearance and desire will be ruined by allowing this retailer to operate in Morgan Hill. Please sign this petition to help us send the message that, we the citizens of Morgan Hill do not Wal-Mart in our city. Please send this to Morgan Hill residents and have them print their name and their email address below. We will be going to the City Council Meeting Feb 4th, 2009 at 7PM to voice our concerns.
