459 Susan Kotzur0201Our library is being used by parents and their young children, senior persons and every age in the middle. A cut in library services of this magnitude at this time of financial upheavel would be a disservice to all the patrons. Thank you

467 John Grover0107The Kinderhook Library is one of the finest and most useful institutions in our community. And, the services that the Mid-Hudson Library System provides makes the local libraries much more effective. Cutting library funding is incredibly foolish.

471 Jordan Parker0404I respectfully ask the Legislature not to cut funding for Libraries. They are a priceless treasure and resource in every community. Any funding that goes to them brings back a Windfall in benefits to each community in the form of education, culture, and the arts. I would like my tax dollars to support these activities gotten by use of the libraries. Thank you for your consideration. Jordan Parker High Falls, NY

480 Nancy N. Rogers0106Our library is busier each day. People are looking for job information, books, CDs and DVDs. Many can not spend what they formerly did on entertainment or educational materials. Please do not cut our budgets again.

489 Judy Lee0105I have been a librarian for over 30 years and oppose any more cuts to the Library budget. Libraries are more important than ever in this economic downturn and should have more funding -not less.

494 Kathleen Montross0106Public libraries are the foundation of a democracy, providing the opportunity for all citizens to access books, newspapers, magazines and the Internet. Usage has increased during this difficult financial period, so it is unconscienable to consider cutting funding to the library now. I trust that I will see my state legislators effectively oppose the proposed cut to library funding.

497 Maria Lozada0105An $18M cut in Library aid is unfair. So much is being eliminated in our lives - what are bureaucrats thinking?
